Dr. Amy Beer, DOM, AP, graduated in January 2015 from Florida College of Integrative Medicine with a Masters in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor of Professional Health Studies. She is a licensed Acupuncture Physician certified by the Florida Board of Acupuncture and is also an NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, Cupping, Tui-na Massage, and Gua Sha can be used alone or in conjunction with other therapies to increase blood circulation in your body and enable nutrients and oxygen to flow freely to your organ systems. This creates an environment that allows your body to heal itself. Acupuncture has been employed in the Orient for thousands of years and is used, most notably, for pain. However, it can be used for anxiety, stress, trauma, insomnia, fertility, asthma, colds and flu, sinus infections, headaches, nausea, fatigue, psoriasis, arthritis, neuropathy and much more. Amy embraces a holistic approach to health and will evaluate all of your body systems in order to tailor a custom treatment plan based on your current Oriental Medicine diagnosis.
